FRANTIC SEWING TOWARDS XMAS.

Now is the time for  all of us to gear up for the

 festive season. No matter how well prepared for

this occasion we try to be, until the shops

 actually close are we ever totally in control?.

This quilt is by Jenny, a lovely rail fence with a cat applique
this will be gifted .

Marion has made this tissue cover so very pretty fabric
and all edges bound with a lovely satin ribbon.

Chris's new baby grandaughter will be so cosy wearing these
festive boots, the rag book of the Nativity will be so nice
to keep, it was made in a short time , to be sent to USA today.

Chris had a Xmas charm pack in her stash, she didn't know
what to do with it so she made a table mat, using the
snow flake fabric. These can be used either way.

This magnificent throw , made by Kate , is hand crocheted
and each one of the "feathers" machine stitched down.
 As I've said before Kate's designs so unique.

Another of Kate's projects, a scrappy quilt for an new baby
in the new year.

Yet again a Kate project, a beautiful Liberty" Charlie " bag.

Lynda with a "Y" liked the Checkered Dresden last week
so she has started her own. Always so striking.

This bag, designed by the bag lady's at top table started
life as a skirt. Foxy had lots of help from Lynda to
make this. A stunning look to take shopping.

These tissue covers are so quick to make , and are always a
welcome gift to carry in your bag. These have been made
by Irene I thing for the hospital shop.

Val has brought this quilt in to layer up and finish.
Another one of her UFO'S. Designed as a kit , but Val
didn't like the fabric choice so she chose her own.

I must offer an apology I can't remember who has started this
lovely quilt. I think that it was Marisabel but i'm not
sure.

As we have so much space in the hall, we are easily able
to cut and measure large amounts of fabric. These are
Maggies curtains for her granddaughter

New lady Joey wanted to make a quilted cushion for her sister.
As a very experienced crafter she is embarking on sewing.
This was made using all scraps and went together so well.

Table runner now finished.

Another variation on Dresden pattern.

The charm pack from Malvern, cost £4-99. I added the gold and
the border print from my stash. A well liked runner .

These are Xmas gift tags embroidered and backed onto felt.
These are quite time consuming but I think well worth doing.
All these last 7 pics are of samples to be put on a craft
 stall at Biddulph Xmas fair . By my Grand daughter Sam.
Any thing that doesn't sell , will go as raffle prizes at Xmas party.
