Busy busy busy.

These last 2 weeks have been so busy at Caverswall,
along with new ladies, and friends moving house. My
new purchase of a newer car, Malvern show  was really
good yesterday. no big spend this year , as I'm still
learning my embroidery machine. I don't know if I'm

taking longer to learn new tech , Or whether "new tech"
is getting more complicated, I will master it.

Annie pie has now moved into her new home,
a beautiful complex near to the Abbey in
Shrewsbury. The ladies had a collection and
bought this Orchid for her, she was really touched
by the gesture.

New lady Joey wanted to make a quilted bag, it was started
in class, along with lots of chatter. She finished it at home,
a good beginning. Next project is a cat cushion.

Jenny has been so busy , last week she did the embroidered
butterfly and cut out her pattern, at home she finished this
beautiful babies dress . Then she knitted the cardi hat and
mitts. A lovely outfit for a little one.

These Japanese fabrics are the start of Val's 3 fat quarter
bags. An economical way of using lovely fabrics. These
will be gifted at X mas .

Marisabell has made these pillows to add to our stash, we
will continue for another week making these then we can
donate to Fresh Hair at the Cancer Centre, UHNM.

This lovely quilt has been made by Marisabell, soft and
gentle colours including the very popular brushed cotton.
She has  quilted it with a twisted rope type of pattern.

This is my latest table topper, from a Missouri Quilt pattern,
so quick and really lovely to make. This will take pride of
 place on our Xmas table.

I have made this wall hanging out of brushed cotton
and felt, I saw this on the web as a baby's quilt design.
When I googled images, maybe 2 years ago. I then saw it
I think on Cotton patch web page. When it arrived
it was only 15 inches high, not a very useful size.
So I enlarged it now its a standard size I'm so
pleased.

AT LAST!

I hope that I have recovered my photo's, after a visit to the

family guru.
This is the start of a new baby quilt by Kate using very
pretty fabrics.

These  bags are to hold  presents , such a lovely way
to wrap Kate's gifts.

Even more of the Breast cancer fabric bags, these will be
sold at the table top sale by a lady who supports the
24 hour helpline.

Besides showing me how to store my embroidery files on
a usb, Val started to make two dressing gowns for her
grand daughter's dolls.

Beth visited today, bringing 3 quilts this had been pieced
so I quilted it with random zig zags. A was very quick to
do ,just need to bind it . another charity quilt towards Xmas.

Kate made this in a few moments, a smart spectacle
case.

Margaret continued quilting her very pretty shabby chic
quilt. This may be Kath Kidson fabrics , always looks
so fresh.

These blocks are Annette's 2nd quilt, fussy cut and really
lovely fabrics, I think from Angie's shop in Cheadle.
A gift for Annette's niece.

These are towards the Breast Cancer pillows we are making for
the charity. As this is a local cause I'm more inclined to help.
These and others have been made by the ladies, I will
show more next week.

2 more gifts for the table top sale, made by Lynda.

APOLOGIES.

APOLOGIES ALL ROUND,

As most will have gathered by now my new tech skills
are not my best achievement. I have bought a new P.C.
With all the bells and whistles, I am now linked to the
cloud, so that all my photo's from my phone go straight
to my state of the art P.C.   They tell me!!! I'm now on
week 2 and can't find my pics. Another visit to family
is on the cards so I can find them. The ladies in class
have been making  cosmetic bags to support the
Breast Cancer Awareness cause. Our collection will
have a collective noun, A Bosom of cosmetic bags!
We have also been given a contact to make heart
pillows, so we are now starting on those. Photo's and
more information will follow asap. Thanks for your
patience.
